Generate the Lock Code.
Run ecgeneratelockcode.exe
from the \Sentinel RMS\Generate Lock
Code folder.
A dialog displaying the unique lock code will appear. Make a note of
the lock code or alternatively select the save button to save the lock
code to a file.
The lock code is unique to your server PC and is used in the generation
of the product license keyfile.
You can submit the lock code on-line by selecting the Submit
Lock Code (Sentinel RMS) option from the Support,
Customer Support Area menu on
www.edgecam.com .
To submit your lock code on-line you will need your username and password.
If you do not have a username and password there is an option to create
one by entering the servercode that you have been provided.
Alternatively, send your lock code to your Reseller who will process
it to generate your product licenses.
Install the Sentinel RMS License Manager.
Run setup.exe from the \Sentinel RMS\License Manager Installation folder. Follow the instructions prompted by the installation program.
Note: it is recommended that you check the ‘Unlock Firewall for Sentinel LM’ option to ensure communication between the server and client PCs.

Install the Product Licenses
Your product licenses will be sent you in a single file as an attachment to an email. If you do not have an email client on the server you will have to save there from a client PC. To install the licenses:
Run wlmadmin.exe from the \Sentinel RMS\Sentinel RMS Utilities\Administer and Monitor folder.
Select your server which will be listed under Subnet Servers. Select the right mouse button and then Add Features, From a File, To Server and its File.
Note: We refer to an EdgeCAM license in EdgeCAM, but licenses are named features in Sentinel RMS™
Browse for the license keyfile that you have saved from the email, select it and press OK.
For each license a confirmation message will be issued. Select OK on the message to complete the installation of each license.

This completes the installation process on the server.
