About the Editor Window

Once you open a file within the Editor using the Open (File menu) command, a file is displayed in a window that is sizeable and moveable.

The contents of the window can be scrolled horizontally and vertically. Most of the text is displayed as black on white. Depending on the control type, special word IDs or key words are highlighted in red, and remarks within the text are coloured green. The sequence number is coloured blue (although you can configure the colours as required in the Miscellaneous tab of the Options (Settings menu) command).

A typical NC file might look like this in the Editor:

A file can also be split to show several parts of the file at the same time. For details see Splitting File Windows.
