The Drawing CPL is different from all the other CPLs as it is purely two dimensional. It is like a conventional drawing sheet on which views are assembled to provide the views which comprise an engineering drawing. Its primary purpose is to contain elements of a drawing that are not part of the 3D model, such as the dimensions, text and drawing symbols. By making the Drawing CPL current, it can also be used for making two dimensional drawings.
