Text Entity Support
AutoCAD supports many more text fonts than EdgeCAM. It also supports proportional fonts, which EdgeCAM does not. For these reasons, text entities cannot be exactly reproduced. Certain symbols such as degree (º), diameter and the plus/minus tolerance (±) symbol are not supported.
All text is imported in standard font, using the height and width information from AutoCAD. In some cases this may result in text that is bigger than the original, if it was using a proportional font.
Text lines of a maximum of 200 characters can be loaded – any lines which exceed this limit will be truncated.
Dimensioning Entity Support
If dimensioning entities are loaded, they will appear in the active CPL.
