To create one or more breaks on an entity intersecting several others
1. Select the Trim (Edit menu) command. The parameters for the command are displayed.
2. Mark the Break parameter box to break an entity. The digitised part of the first entity is LOST.
3. Click on OK.
4. Entity digitise the first entity at the location you want to break.
5. Digitise the entity that marks the first break point.
6. Digitise the entity that marks the second break point.
The first entity is now trimmed between the break point entities.
7. Go back to stage 4 or perform a finish.
