Adding Menu Options

To customise a Machine's menu, select Modify Properties (Machine menu) from the menubar of the Machine icon, and click on the Menu tab.

1. Click on the button to display and select from this menu of tasks:

2. Select the desired task.

3. Click on an appropriate Button to use for the Task.

4. Type in a Description of the Task.

5. Click on the Add button.  The new menu option is added to the option list.

6. Click on OK.

The new option will appear when the Machine menu is activated in future.

Instead of clicking on the button, you could click on the Browse button to display this dialog:

This has a number of file types:

• Possible Tasks (*.lc,*.clc,*.exe,*.com,*.bat,*.cmd)

• Comms Tasks (*.lc,*.clc)

• Executables (*.exe,*.com)

• Batch Files (*.bat,*.cmd)

• All Files (*.*)

Example - Adding a Calculator Option

In the Task box, type:

c:\windows\calc.exe

This task starts the Windows Calculator program.
