Working with the Menu and Tool Bars

The Code Wizard features:

• The Menu Bar, which is in the typical Windows style, featuring items for opening and closing templates and CGDs, and for customizing the User Interface, for example.

• The Standard Toolbar, which provides shortcut buttons for some of the menu items such as File menu ► Open.

• The Machine Elements toolbar, that you use to insert branches into the Machine Setup tree and the Fixtures Tree.

• The Display toolbar, that you can use to show or hide all the graphics of a particular Type property.

 You can Move, dock and undock the Menu Bar and the toolbars:

1. Start to drag the bar around the Code Wizard window:

• If the bar is undocked, drag it by its title area at the top.

• If the bar is docked, use its dotted bar at the left hand side or top .

2. To dock the bar, drag it towards the top of the Code Wizard window and drop.

3. To undock the bar drag it anywhere in the Code Wizard window apart from the top, and drop.

You can show or hide toolbars:

1. Right-click on the Menu bar.

2. In the menu that appears hover the cursor over Toolbars ►.

3. In the list of toolbars that appears, click an unchecked toolbar to check and show it, click a checked toolbar to uncheck and hide it.
