When using Radius programming:

a) If the arc move is greater than 180 degrees, then a negative R value will be produced.

b) If the arc move is 360 degrees, then I&J output will be automatically forced.

 

Adjust Feedrate to Side of Tool

On external corners, the feedrate will be decreased, on internal corners it will be increased. (see Adjust Feedrate Max. for limits of feedrate adjustment applied)

Subsequent linear moves will resume the original programmed feedrate i.e. will not have the adjustment applied.

 

Reverse CLW/CCLW codes for XZ and YZ planes

The CLW and CCLW codes entered through the G Codes tab are for the XY plane. However, when operating in the XZ and YZ planes, you may need to switch the G codes that are output, depending on the machine.

In the Circular Interpolation tab, check the appropriate XZ or YZ box to switch between the CLW and CCLW values (for example, to use the CCLW code instead of the CLW code).

 

Maximum Programmable Radius

Allows the maximum programmable radius to be specified, above which a linear interpolation will be generated.

Value is defined in units of the machine tool and is converted automatically into NC program units when validating the radius programmed.

 

Adjust Feedrate Max. Decrease

Feedrates are adjusted by this amount when machining internal corners.

This is only applied if Adjust Feedrate to Side of Tool is checked.

 

Adjust Feedrate Max. Increase

Feedrates are adjusted by this amount when machining internal corners.

This is only applied if Adjust Feedrate to Side of Tool is checked.

 

Arc Centre type when IJK

This defines the method of defining the arc centre to be selected when using IJK programming.
