Grooving the Thread Undercut

1. Click on Zoom Extents .
   
   

2. Click on Zoom Window and select an area around the thread undercut groove in gold.

3. Click Groove Operation .

4. Pick the groove profile using the same windows technique as the previous groove operation. Ensure that you contain all the gold entities defining the thread undercut within the window. Right click to finish profile selection.

5. Right click to set the start and end points on the profile, and select the gold point as the cycle start position.

The dialog for the operation now appears.
