FeatureMILL3D version 6.0 improvements

Import

1. Mechanical Desktop ACIS solids import embedded in DXF file now supported.

2. Accuracy of imported trimmed surfaces no longer fixed at time of import. Surfaces are now imported at the accuracy of the file and then tolerances are applied during display and during toolpath generation separately.

3. IGES import now honor layers.

4. Automatic centering action for stock on import.

Toolpaths

1. Pencil milling for cleaning up fillets or hard corners of the model.

2. Surface remachining for cleaning up regions of the part that were not cut by a larger cutter.

3. Z-level finish depth-first option. Now Z-level finishing is not restricted to finishing the part one Z-level at a time. Instead it can cut down to complete regions.

4. Multiple islands for drive curve machining

5. Now toolpaths are properly hidden behind shaded surfaces. See display options of surface shading
