This dialog box allows you to specify whether the part will be placed relative to an exiting fixture ID or place independently by creating fixture IDs for each part placed. Placing the parts relative to an existing fixture ID minimized the fixture IDs that are used, but requires you to setup your parts very accurately. Creating a new fixture zero for each part gives you flexibility when placing the parts on the tombstone, but requires you to locate each part. It also may be impractical if you do not have enough fixture IDs

Click Use predefined fixture ID to locate the part relative to a fixture ID. Click Next. The Tombstone_part_location_dialog_box dialog box comes up. If this option is dimmed then you must create global fixture IDs prior to placing the part. Click Create a new fixture zero at the setup origin to assign a fixture ID to each part that is placed on the tombstone. Click Next. The Tombstone_part_location_dialog_box dialog box comes up.
