As you learn to work with FeatureCAM you’ll find yourself using certain settings over and over again. These recurring settings represent the way you work in your shop and the kinds of parts you produce. The default values for many feature attributes can be in the Default attributes dialog box. This dialog box also contains system defaults for attributes that cannot be set on individual features.
Select Default Attributes in the Options menu to open the Default Attributes dialog box. The default attributes are broken into two different categories, milling and turning.

You can also create different sets of default attributes. You may want different sets of default attributes because different users use the same installation of FeatureCAM, or you might want customize the different settings for different machine tools.
