The Align Wizard allows you to place a UCS using a number of methods. Select the method and hit the Next button. The next page then prompts you for the information listed below.

Part is already aligned |
Do not change the part. It is already where you want it to be. |

Block stock |
Select the face, and any corner of that face. You can graphically pick either the face or corner. |

Feature |
Select the feature from a list of features in the part. The UCS is placed at predetermined locations on the feature. |

Three points |
Pick an origin, a point anywhere on the new X axis, and any point in the new XY plane |

Two lines |
Select from any two intersecting lines in your part drawing to specify the new X and Y axes. |
|
Circle |
Select a circle. UCS is positioned at the origin. |
|
Curve |
Select a curve. UCS is positioned the start or end point. The Z axis is aligned with the curve normal. |

Surface |
Select the surface and a point on the surface. UCS is positioned at the point on the surface with the Z axis aligned with the surface normal. |

UCS |
Select another UCS. The new UCS is now a copy of the UCS you selected. You can then edit it with other functions in the UCS dialog box. |
