Selecting this option from the Help menu displays the WebUpdate dialog box. This allows you to set up the webupdate program that is used to check for the latest version.
Applications Tab
In general you should not have to change anything on this tab. Instead to update a version of FeatureCAM, use the Check for latest version option of the Help menu. If you have multiple versions of FeatureCAM installed on your machine, you can select the version from the list and then click Check for update to update that specific version.
Settings Tab
If you establish your Internet connection prior to running Check for latest version then you should not have to make any adjustments on the Settings tab. If you want FeatureCAM to establish your Internet connection on demand then select the appropriate option:
I connect through local area network – Select this option if have a company-wide network or if you have an internet connection that uses your network card.
I connect using a modem - Select this option if you use a dial-up connection.
I connect using America Online – Select this if you use America Online.
