Speed displays the speed of the tool that performs the currently selected operation. Override the setting by typing the new value directly in the display field. The Override check box automatically selects itself.
The speed is calculated from the speed and feed table for the stock material. You can change the material’s table to affect speeds and feeds for that material in all cases by selecting Feeds and Speeds Tables in the Options menu. Or you can set global percentages to change feeds and speeds for all parts by selecting Default Attributes in the Options menu.
