You can build surfaces from the Surface toolbar, the wizard or selecting Surfaces in the Construct menu. With the surface wizard:
Select the category of surfaces from among:
Pick a construction method from that category.
Click Next. The surface construction dialog box appears.
Look through the construction methods and verify that they will construct the kind of surface you want.
If the methods don’t match what you are trying to do, click Back and use a different method. The same surface can often be made in different ways.
When you have the construction method you want, fill in the fields with the correct information. Surfaces use curves, other surfaces, points, surface normals, and other kinds of user specified information to create your part model.
Click Finish to add the surface design to the part model.
