Interface Changes
- Options – The Options menu has been replaced by a single option on the Tools menu. This change increases the consistency with other Delcam Power Solution products.
When you select Tools – Options, the Options dialog box is displayed. The information in this dialog box is the same as was available in previous versions in the Display Options, Import/Export Options and Advanced Options dialog box, it is just displayed in a slightly different way and accessed from one menu item.
There are the following new options:
- The Options – View dialog box has a new option of Perspective View.
- The Options – Draw dialog box now allows you to set the Line Width.
- The Options – Markers dialog box has a new Auto point drawing size.
- The Options – Colours dialog box has new options for user-defined Colour Options.
- The Options – Import dialog box allows you to split the DMT and TRI models into their separate blocks.
- The Options – File Selector dialog box allows you to set the user-defined folders for the Open File dialog box.
- New Colour Scheme - CopyCAD now has a new colour scheme so that it is the same as other Delcam Power Solution products, such as PowerSHAPE, Delcam's powerful 3D-design package.
- Improved Open File dialog box. There are new buttons on the Open File dialog box that allow easy access to your Home directory, the Examples folder and two user-defined folders.
- Improved Cursor
Pick Mode Cursor – The cursor now reflects the current pick mode. This makes it easier to see what will be selected.
Cursor tracking - When you are in a standard X, Y or Z view, CopyCAD displays in the status bar the X, Y, Z co-ordinates for the cursor position.
- The Interactive Curve Editing dialog boxes Split Span option has been renamed the Insert Breakpoint option, as this is a better description of its function.
- CopyCAD now uses a more reliable method of communicating with PS-Exchange.
