Overview

The following tutorials are available to help you try out different tasks in CopyCAD:

• Getting Started: Alloy Wheel. This tutorial is intended as a starting point for new users of CopyCAD. It shows the two main stages in creating a surfaced model from point data
  
  
• Getting Started: Surfacing. This tutorial shows how to surface a model, using a variety of surfacing techniques.
  
  
• Tolerancing Tutorial. This tutorial demonstrates a simple way of reducing the amount of data in the model.
  
  
• Limiting Tutorial. This tutorial shows you how you can use the Limit Model dialog box to divide a model into separate models using a limiting plane.
  
  
• Surface Triangulation Tutorial. This tutorial demonstrates how to create a triangle model from a surfaced CAD model.
  
  
• TriFIX Tutorial. This tutorial walks you through the steps needed to repair a damaged triangle model, making it watertight.
  
  
• PS-Surfacer Tutorial. This tutorial shows you some of the CAD tools you can use to edit surfaces created in CopyCAD.
