Splitting a Curve at a Point

To split a single curve at a selected point:

1. Select a single curve that you want to split at a selected point.
   
   
2. Click on the Split Curves button, to display the Curve Splitting dialog box.
   
   
3. In the Split Method area, click on the Split curves at picked trim point option to select it. The selected curve turns white.
   
   
4. Click on the curve at the point where you want to split the curve. This inserts a yellow point.

Note: If you want to change the position of this trim point, click again on the line.

5. Click on Apply to split the curve at the trim point.
   
   
6. Examine the lines to make sure that you have split them correctly:
   • If you are satisfied with the results, click on the Accept button to close the dialog box
     
     
   • If you are not satisfied with the results, click on the Cancel button to close the dialog box without saving the changes to the curves.
