You can use the Cancel button at any time to undo all the changes you have made using the Interactive Triangle Editing tools. If, however, you want to selectively undo the changes, you can use the Erase tool.
To slowly undo the changes rather than reverse the previous action in one step, you can use the Strength setting. This sets the amount each node is moved towards the original position. So if the strength is set to 100, the node is moved to the original position in one action, at 50 you need to use the tool twice and so on. This allows a gradual undo process.
Note: You can only undo the actions of the other editing tools while the Interactive Triangle Editing dialog box remains open. When you click on Accept to save the changes and close the dialog box, you cannot 'undo' the changes. Instead, you have to use other editing tools to try and counteract the first editing action, or reopen the original model.
Important: Make sure that you click on Accept before changing to another model, or using a different CopyCAD dialog box. If you do not, you will lose your edits.
At the bottom of the dialog box, you can use the Show Deviations From Original area to view how your editing has affected the model. For more details, click here.
To undo editing changes:
The strength sets the amount each node is moved towards the original position as a percentage
The smoothness determines whether there is any reduction in the strength of the undo action towards the edges of the brush. At 0% smoothness, full strength is maintained right to the edge of the brush.
When you have specified these options, move the cursor over the model to undo the changes you have carried out during this editing session.
