Blending Between Regions

When transforming a region, you can set blend regions so that there is a smooth transition between the three different regions of the model.

Transform regions are shaded green and blend regions are shaded red.

To blend between the regions separated by Plane 1:

  1. In the Blend Region 1 area, click on the Blend Type list box to display the blend options, then click to select one.

Note: For more details, see Blend Options.

  1. Type an appropriate value in the Tolerance box to refine the triangles in the blend region. The blend will be modelled to the specified tolerance.

Note: For more details, see Refining Triangle Models.

  1. Click on the Define Separating Plane 2 button to display the Define Plane dialog box.

  2. Use the Define Plane dialog box to define the other boundary for the blend region.

The steps above describe how to create a blend region for Plane 1. If you want to create a blend region for the other separating plane, use the Blend Region 2 area, and the Define Separating Plane 4 button.
