This dialog box allows you to create a new model by reducing the number of points or scanlines in the model. This is useful when only very dense scanned data is available.
You can also use this dialog box to swap the scanline axis of gridline models. Gridline models contain a scanline structure that runs along one axis of the grid. Swapping the scanline axis on gridlines allows you to carry out scanline editing operations on both axes of gridline models. It also may be necessary if you want to triangulate the data to create a closed model.
