This dialog box allows you to reposition, within tolerance, the entities that make up the model. This filters out noise in the point data, thus smoothing the model.
When the dialog box is displayed, the Gridlines tab is selected by default. You can use this dialog box to filter out noise in points, scanlines, gridlines and triangles, using the options on one of the four tabs:
Click on the tab for the type of model you have selected. For example, if you want to filter a points model, click on the Points tab.
Note: It is a good idea to tolerance the model after filtering, as this will remove any duplicate points than may have been created.
