Add Point

The Add Point button allows you to add points to the model.

There are two ways you can the Add Point button to add points:

• you can add a point at a known XYZ co-ordinate
  
  
• you can add a point midway between two points on a single scanline.

To add a point by co-ordinates:

1. Click on the Add Point button to display the Position dialog box.
   
   
2. Type the point's co-ordinates in the X, Y and Z boxes.
   
   
3. Click on Apply to close the Position dialog box.

Alternatively to add a point between two adjacent points on a scanline:

1. Select the two points.
   
   
2. Click on the Add Point button to add the mid-point.

This new point is added on the Scanline provided that the original points are next to each other on the same scanline.
