Edit Toolbar

The Edit toolbar is displayed when you click on on the Main toolbar

This toolbar contains the following buttons:

	Edit sub components - allows you to move, rotate, scale and offset laterals and longitudinals rather than their parent surface.
	Limit selection - limits a selection of objects to a 'cutting' object. This displays a toolbar to the right, which you can use to select the cutting object and limit the selected objects
	Limit point trims or extends objects to a point.
	Limit cut allows you to cut lines, arcs and curves into smaller pieces.
	Limit interactive allows you to remove portions of wireframe objects by simply selecting them.
	Copy Object - allows you to move or copy an object or a group of objects by a specified offset or to a specified position.
	Rotate Object allows you to turn selected objects about the axis normal to the principal plane of the current workspace. It also allows you to created duplicate objects spaced around the rotation. When you select this button, the tools for rotation are displayed to the right of the toolbar.
	Mirror/symmetrise object - This reverses the original (as in a mirror) or makes a reversed copy of the original. PS-Surfacer provides four ways of defining the mirror plane: selecting a line on your model; dragging your selected objects and a mirror plane is defined parallel to one of the planes - XY, YZ and ZX; creating a temporary user-defined line; using one of the plane buttons from the Mirror tools to the right of the toolbar.
	Offset object - This moves or copies objects by a set distance along the object normal. To the right of the toolbar, scale tools are provided for resizing objects
	Scale object - This allows you to make objects larger or smaller. To the right of the toolbar, scale tools are provided for resizing objects. These are Uniform, Non-Uniform and To a projected Volume.
	Stretch object - This stretches wireframe objects. When you select this button, the Stretch Origin button is displayed to the right of the toolbar.
	Project object - This projects wireframe objects along an axis onto a plane at a particular point.
	Open a new model – This tool is only available if you have a license to use PowerSHAPE, Delcam's full CAD package. If you do, clicking on it creates a new model in a PowerSHAPE session, allowing you to use PowerSHAPE's full functionality.
