Checking for Errors

You must now check that the surfaces are of good quality before you edit them and create the new fillet surface. You can do this by turning on the shaded errors to view deviation from the underlying triangles.

  1. Click on the Shade Errors button on the Draw toolbar.

  2. To view the errors more clearly, select the Options – Display menu option, then on the Shade tab, set the Error Shading Transparency to 50.

Your model should look like the example below, containing only errors within tolerance. If the shading is either red or blue, delete the surfaces then repeat the steps in Creating the Surfaces.
