A macro "records" a series of commands, which can then be automatically "played". This saves having to manually re-enter commands when re-creating operations. Macros cannot record pick events, therefore cannot record surface creation.
When you select Tools - Macro - Record, CopyCAD displays the Record Macro File dialog box. This is based on the standard Windows™ Save As dialog box, and allows you to name and save the macro file (*.mac).
