Drawing Elements of a Model

The Draw toolbar at the bottom of the CopyCAD window allows you to

• control which entities are visible on the screen. (Points, Labels, Normals, Scanlines, Gridlines, Curves, Triangle Boundaries, Triangles, Surfaces, Surfaced Entities, Errors, Transform, Draw All, Undraw All).
  
  
• control how entities are displayed on the screen (Shaded Triangles, Shaded Surfaces, Shaded Errors).

The first option on the toolbar allows you to show, hide or draw only masked entities (Masked Points, Masked Scanlines, Masked Triangles) using a drop-down list box. For details, see Drawing/Hiding Masked Items.

The Units option on the toolbar allows you to change the units of measurement used in this CopyCAD session. For details, see Changing Units.

The 2D coordinates of the current position of the cursor are displayed when you are in are in a standard X, Y or Z view. The standard views are selected using the buttons on the View toolbar. For example if you are in the View from Right (X) view, the cursor position is shown in the Y and Z boxes.
