The Units option on the Draw toolbar allows you to change the units of measurement used for models. If you change the units, CopyCAD asks you whether you want to update the tolerance values to take into account the new units used.
For example, when you tolerance a model that is specified in millimetres the default tolerance is 0.1. If you change the units to inches, the equivalent default tolerance is 0.004.
Note: CopyCAD does not automatically convert the dimensions for the models currently open in this session. If you change the units mid-session, you must scale the models to take into account the new units, using the Transform Model dialog box. For further details, see the Transform Model dialog box help.
