Using 'trackball twiddling' can seem quite strange initially but is usually quickly mastered. Trackball twiddling operates in the same manner as if you were 'twiddling' a ball
If you start with the cursor in the middle of the window and press the middle mouse button then drag the cursor up the screen the model will move as you move the mouse. To envisage how the model will move, imagine that you have your finger on the top of a ball centred in the graphics window. As you move your finger (and the ball with it) a new orientation of the ball becomes visible. If you have the cursor anywhere other than at the centre of the window then the model will move in the same way as if you had your finger at the equivalent position on a ball and then moved it.
