Manipulating the View

Before continuing the tutorial, it is a good idea to familiarise yourself with manipulating the view. This can be done using the commands on the toolbar.

You can also change the viewpoint using the mouse as follows:

• Middle mouse button – click and drag on the model to rotate the view
  
  
• Middle mouse button + Shift – Pans the model (moves at the same size to a different position in the Graphics window)
  
  
• Middle mouse button + Shift + Ctrl – Zooms to box
  
  
• Middle mouse button + Ctrl - Zooms in and out.

Most of the diagrams in this guide are shown using the View ISO 1 button on the toolbar.
