Click on the Auto Stitch button
to open the Auto Stitch dialog box.
This dialog box provides options that you can use to stitch triangle boundaries together to produce a closed model.
Starting at an initial tolerance value, boundaries which are close together (compared with the tolerance) are stitched - that is, new triangles are generated to join the boundaries together. The tolerance is then increased and the stitching process is repeated. This sequence continues until either the mesh is closed, or a terminal tolerance is reached.
If your mesh is fully surfaced, this may be the only tool required to produce a closed mesh.
