How CopyCAD Works

There are 6 main stages in generating surfaces from scanned data:

1. Import the digitised data.
   
   
2. Create a Scanline structure to remove the links between Scanlines.
   
   
3. Offset the Scanlines to account for the probe radius.
   
   
4. Generate a triangle model.
   
   
5. Generate the surfaces.
   
   
6. Output the surfaces as an IGES or DUCT file.
