Level of Attraction

Metaballs have a default "level of attraction" starting from the center of the Metaball and decreasing as it moves towards the outside edge.

If we use a scale of 0 to 1, the center of the Metaball has an attraction level of 1 while the outer radius of the Metaball has an attraction level of 0.

The level of attraction can be increased by duplicating one of the Metaballs.

Notice how the level of attraction increases where the two Metaballs are:

Duplicating the Metaball again, increases the level of attraction even more:
