Disk Intensity

Disk Intensity controls the intensity of the interior portion of the sun/moon disk itself. A higher value will make the sun/moon disk more visible in your scene while lowering the intensity will make the disk fade into the sky dome or clouds. This setting only comes into play if the sun or moon is visible in the scene at the time of render. This also applies to reflections of the sun/moon that might be in the scene.

To set the Sun/Moon Disk Intensity:

  1. Display the Sky & Fog palette by clicking the Sky & Fog button at the top of the Bryce window.

  2. Click the Sky Lab button. The Sky Lab appears.

  3. Click the Sun & Moon tab.

  4. Enable or disable the Sun/Moon Visible option.

  5. Drag the Disk Intensity slider right to increase the intensity or left to decrease it or enter a value in the Disk Intensity field.

  6. Click the OK icon to exit the dialog.
  7. If you don't see any changes to the Disk Intensity when rendering, lower the Glow Intensity.
