Using a 3D Texture as a Component
To use a 3D Texture as a component:
- Load an object and click on the
button to enter the Materials Lab.
- In the Materials Lab, click in a channel column. A randomly selected texture appears in the Texture Component Window.

- If you want to change this texture, click the triangle button next to the texture name at the top of the window
and choose a preset texture from the menu.
You can also press Shift+click on the triangle to access the Texture Library directly instead of a listing of the textures.
Note: To access a different main category from the Texture Library via the menu, you will need to enter the Texture Library, select a category, then exit the library. The new category will then be available from the menu.
- The texture you selected appears in the Component window.

- OR click on the pink Texture Source Editor button on the left-hand side of the window to enter the Deep Texture Editor.
