Resize on the Y-Axis

To resize from the top on the Y-axis:

1. Move the cursor over the top of the Y-axis on the Resize tool.
   
   
2. Hold down the left mouse button and drag right - the object scales larger upwards.
   
   
3. Drag left and the object scales smaller towards the ground.
   
   

To resize from the bottom on the Y-axis:

1. Move the cursor over the bottom of the Y-axis on the Resize tool.
   
   
2. Hold down the left mouse button and drag right - the object scales larger downwards.
   
   
3. Drag left and the object scales smaller going up.
   
   

To resize in both directions on the Y-axis:

1. Move the cursor over the top or bottom of the Y-axis on the Resize tool.
   
   
2. Press Opt/Alt and drag right to scale the object larger on the Y-axis or left to scale the object smaller on the Y-axis.
   
   

Hold down Shift to constrain the resize increments to 50% intervals when increasing/decreasing the size of the object.
