Resolution

Wireframe Resolution can be set manually to suit your preferences using the Resolution tool. Reduce the resolution if Bryce slows down when a large scene is being worked on.

Click the Resolution tool and choose Static, Selected, or Motion. Then choose a resolution for the wireframe mode.

• Static lets you define the resolution of the wireframe when the object is not moving and not selected.
• Selected lets you define the resolution of the wireframe when the object is selected.
• Motion lets you define the resolution of the wireframe when the object is being moved.
• Selecting Auto LOD (Level of Detail) will allow Bryce to automatically force a box display of objects while moving objects or the camera if your computer cannot handle the selected settings.

The new "Convert Boolean to Mesh" function depends on the Selected Resolution so if the Selected Resolution is set to 8, then the converted mesh will be "chunky" but if the Selected Resolution is set to 32, then the converted mesh will be much smoother.
