Form: Select By Specified Coordinate Range
Use the Select menu > Select > Coordinate Specification > Specified Coordinate Range command to access the Select By Specified Coordinate Range form. Use that form to select objects on the basis of X, Y, and Z coordinate limits.
Coordinate System drop-down list. Choose the coordinate system in which the coordinate limits are applied.
Units drop-down list. Use the displayed units or select new ones from this drop-down list for the values specified on this form.
Select All Objects That Are options
Entirely Inside the Specified Selection Volume option. Use this option when the objects to be selected are fully within the specified coordinate range.
Entirely or Partially Inside the Specified Selection Volume option. Use this option when the objects to be selected are fully or partially within the specified coordinate range. Using this option, objects that cross the boundary limits will be selected.
Select These Object Types options. Choose the type of objects to be selected by clicking the appropriate check boxes: Point, Line, Area, Solid and Link. By default, all object types are selected.
The X Coordinate Limits, Y Coordinate Limits, and Z Coordinate Limits options can be used in any combination to define the coordinate limits on which the selection is based.
