Form: Database Table and Field Name Change
SAP2000 generates default table and field names that may be changed using the Options menu > Database > Tables and Fields Names command. The field names are used as column headings in the display, printout and export of database tables for input and output information.
Note: This feature is intended primarily to facilitate translation of table names to languages other than US English for presentation purposes. If the feature is used for other reasons, caution should be exercised to ensure that a table type is not "overlooked" because of a name change. That is, if a table name is changed, it should be considered a permanent change, not a report or project specific change.
Click the Options menu > Database > Tables and Fields Names command to display the Database Table and Field Name Change form. Use the options on the Table Names and Field Names tabs to make all necessary changes.
