Form: Log
Use the File menu > Modify/Show Comments and Log command to access the Log form. SAP2000 will automatically record in the Log when and where the file was stored. The Log can also be used to track the status of the model to date, to keep a "to-do" list for the model, and to retain key results that can be used to monitor the effects of changes to the model. Those notations can be deleted or modified and comments can be typed directly into the log at any time.
Click the Write to Text File button to generate a text file containing the text from the log.
Click the Done button to close the Log form.
