File menu

New Model

Displays the BAG - Bridge Analysis Generator, Control Data form.

Open

Displays the SAP Bridge Model form. Use that form to locate a previously created bridge model file. Locate the subdirectory containing the file and then click on the filename to open the file.

Save

Displays the SAP Bridge Model form. Specify the location and filename for storing the bridge model.

Save As

Displays the SAP Bridge Model form. Specify the location and filename for storing the bridge model.

Import Caltrans BAG Text File

Displays the Bag Text File form. Use that form to locate a text file in the format appropriate for importing into the BAG generator.

Export Caltrans BAG Text File

Displays the BAG Text File form. Use that form to specify a location and filename for saving a bridge model file in a text file format.

Export to SAP2000

Exports the model to a SAP compatible format and immediately displays the bridge model, as defined, in the main screen of SAP2000.

Show Output File

Displays the model output file.

Exit

Closes the BAG - Bridge Analysis Generator form and returns to SAP2000.

Edit menu

Undo

Undoes the previous action.

Redo

Redoes the previous action.

Cut

Removes the selected object and temporarily stores it on the Windows clipboard.

Copy

Copies the selected object and temporarily stores it on the Windows clipboard.

Paste

Pastes the temporarily stored object from the Windows clipboard to the specified location.

Delete

Removes the selected object or data from the generator.

Select All

Selects all objects or data.

Insert

Inserts a record in the Span, Bents or Columns spreadsheet that is displayed when the command is used.

Delete

Deletes the selected record from the Span, Bents or Columns spreadsheet that is displayed when the command is used.

View menu

Plan View

Displays the model in Plan View.

Elevation 1 View

Displays the model in Elevation View.

Elevation 2 View

Displays the model in Elevation View.

3D View

Displays the model in 3-D view.

Define

Control

Displays the initial Control Data form.

Geometry

Displays the initial Overall Geometry form.

Span

Select from the drop-down list to display the required span data form:  Deck Span Data 1, Deck Span Data 2, or Deck Span Data 3.

Bents

Select from the drop-down list to display the required bent data form: Pier Bent Data 1, Pier Bent Data 2, or Pier Bent Data 3.

Columns

Displays the Pier/Column Type form.
