Use the File menu >Import > Show SASSI Results Animations command to import soil-structure interaction analysis data generated by SASSI2000 (System for Analysis of Soil-Structure Interaction), a package of interrelated computer programs that can be used to solve a wide range of dynamic soil-structure interaction problems in two or three dimensions.
Note: The SASSI license must be enabled before using this command.
Click the File menu > Import > Show SASSI Results Animations command to display the Video File form. Use that form to specify the path and filename for saving the .avi file that will be generated to show the results of the SASSI2000 analysis.
When the OK button is clicked on the Video File form, the rd File For X Displacement form will appear. Use this form to locate the SASSI-generated X displacement data form. Select the file and click the Open button to load the data and close the form.
When the OK button is clicked on the rd File For X Displacement form, the rd File For Y Displacement form will appear. Use that form to locate the SASSI-generated Y displacement data form. Select the file and click the Open button to load the data and close the form.
When the OK button is clicked on the rd File For Y Displacement form, the rd File For Z Displacement form will appear. Use that form to locate the SASSI-generated Z displacement data form. Select the file and click the Open button to load the data and close the form.
When the OK button on the rd File For Z Displacement form is clicked, the SASSI Animation Video File Creation form appears. Use that form to specify which of the SASSI2000-generated files will be used as input in creating the .avi file. Clock the Browse button to change the path and filename for the input files.
Use the edit boxes in the AVI Options area of the form to specify the clarity (Frame Size), size (Scale factor) and speed (Step Increment) for the .avi file.
