Export SASSI House Input Form

Access the SASSI House Input form as follows:

Click the File menu > Export > SASSI command to access the SASSI form.
Click the Edit button associated with the House File Name data type to display the SASSI House Input form.

Additional Form: Define Soil Layer Data

Use the SASSI House Input form to specify parameters for the structural and excavated soil models.

Header edit/display box. Use this edit box to specify a header that will appear on the SASSI output.
Structural Model

Element Group Exported drop-down list. Choose the groups of objects to be exported from SAP2000.
Active Degrees of Freedom check boxes. Choose the active degrees of freedom for the selected object group.

Method of Impedance Computation drop-down list. Choose the method for computing impedance for the soil-structure interaction analysis.
Group for Interaction Nodes drop-down list. Choose the group to be used as interaction nodes for the soil-structure interaction analysis.
Z Surface edit box. Use this edit box to specify the Z coordinate of the top surface of the top layer of soil.
Define Soil Layers check box and Soil Layers button. Check this check box and click this button to display the Define Soil Layer Data form. Use that form to review/specify the parameters for each soil layer, such as thickness, unit weight, S-wave velocity, P-wave velocity, S-wave damping, P-wave damping.

MAXC, MAXT, and MUSE edit boxes. Use these edit boxes to specify the memory settings of SASSI.

Data Check Run Only check box. When this check box is checked, SASSI2000 will check the data only and will not perform soil-structure interaction analysis.
