The Edit menu > Cut, Edit menu > Copy and Edit menu > Paste commands work similar to the standard cut, copy and paste Windows commands. An object(s) must be selected before the command is used.
The entire structure or any selected part of the structure may be cut or copied and then pasted back into the model at any user-specified location.
Note: The Cut and Copy commands cut and copy only the geometry and connectivity of the selected object to the Windows clipboard. Other assignments made to the selected object are not copied using these commands; copying assignments can be accomplishing using the Assign menu > Copy Assigns and Assign menu > Paste Assigns commands.
TIP: The Edit menu > Replicate command can be used to quickly replicate objects in the model using linear, radial or mirror options. Also the File menu > Export and File menu > Import commands can be used to export model data to a spreadsheet where the data can be modified quickly using a spreadsheet program before the data is imported back into the model.
