Overwrite Frame Design Procedure

Form: Overwrite Frame Design Procedure

The Design menu > Overwrite Frame Design Procedure command can be used to specify that a line object should not be designed. Line objects without a designated design procedure display None for the Design Procedure on the Line Information form.

Select the line object that is to have its design procedure overwritten.
Click the Design menu > Overwrite Frame Design Procedure command to display the Overwrite Frame Design Procedure form.
Choose a design option. When the Default from Material option is used, SAP2000 uses the design option specified for the material property assigned to the frame section, cable section or tendon section that has been assigned to the selected line object.
