Form: Design Load Combinations Selection
Click the Design menu > Cold-Formed Steel Frame Design > Select Design Combo command to open the Design Load Combinations Selection form. It is not necessary to run the analysis or select an object before using the Design menu > Cold-Formed Steel Frame Design > Select Design Combo command. Use the form to review the default cold-formed steel frame design load combinations defined by SAP2000 or designate your own design load combinations.
Depending on the construction of the model, the form may have a Strength Tab or a Deflection Tab. Select the type of design combinations to review or specify by clicking the appropriate tab. On each tab, all of the available design load combinations are listed in the List of Combos list box. The design load combinations actually used in the design are listed in the Design Combos list box.
TIP: All three of the following buttons act on the highlighted design load combination.
Use the Add and Remove buttons to move load combinations into and out of the Design Combos list box. Use the Ctrl and Shift keys to make multiple selections in this form for use with the Add and Remove buttons, if desired.
Use the Show button to see the definition of a design load combination.
The Add Automatic Program Default Design Combinations for {Strength, Deflection} button can be used to add the default design combinations to the list of user defined combinations. If the button is not available, the default combinations have been added already because no user combinations were defined (see the Combinations topic for more information), triggering the automatic application of the default combinations, or the Add User Default Design Combinations button was clicked on the Define Response Combinations form. Use the button to add the default combinations to the user defined combinations.
The default cold-formed steel frame design load combinations have names such as DCLD1, DCLD2 and so forth.
