Form: Display Aluminum Design Results
Review some of the results of the Aluminum frame design directly on the SAP2000 model (i.e., on screen) using the Design menu > Aluminum Frame Design > Display Design Info command. This command displays design sections, unbraced lengths, effective length factors, allowable stresses, and stress ratio information.
Display design information on screen as follows:
Run an analysis.
Perform at least one design using the Design menu > Aluminum Frame Design > Start Design/Check of Structure command.
Select the Design menu > Aluminum Frame Design > Display Design Info command to access the Display Aluminum Design Results form.
Select the Input or Output option and choose from the drop-down list the type of information to be displayed on screen. Use the Assign menu > Clear Display of Assigns command to remove the on-screen display of design information.
TIP: Design results can also be displayed by right clicking on a frame section to display the Aluminum Stress Check Information form, which also can be displayed using the Interactive Aluminum Frame Design command.
