Temperature Dependent Properties Form

Access the Temperature
Dependent Properties form as
follows:
Click the Define menu > Materials command to access the Define
Materials form. The Define Materials form
also can be accessed by clicking the + (plus) symbol that may appear next
to a drop-down list of available materials, such as the Material drop-down
list on the Shell
Section Data form, or the
{Frame Section
Type} Data forms.
Check the Show
Advanced Properties check box. Click the Add New Material button to access
the Material Property Options form. Click the Modify/Show Material Properties
button to access the Material Property Data
form. Click the Thermal Properties button. |
Use the Temperature Dependent
Properties form to specify a heat capacity value and values for
the thermal conductivity matrix to specify parameters for heat transfer
as part of the material property definition.
After the temperature dependent properties have been
specified as part of the material property definition, the properties
are applied to the model by assigning the material property definition
to a selected area(s),
frame(s),
cable(s),
tendon(s)
or solid(s).
