Tendon Quick Start Form

Access the Tendon Quick Start form, with the Bridge Modeler license enabled, as follows:

Click the Bridge menu > Bridge Objects command or select the Bridge Object Definition item and click the Define/Show Bridge Objects button on the Bridge Wizard to display the Define Bridge Objects form. At least a layout line and a bridge deck section must be defined for this command to be available.
Click the Add New Bridge Object button, or highlight an existing definition and click the Add Copy of Bridge Object or Modify/Show Bridge Object buttons to display the Bridge Object Data form.
Click the Modify/Show Bridge Prestress button to display the Define Prestress Tendons form.
Click the Add New Tendon button or highlight an existing tendon definition and click the Add Copy of Tendon or Modify/Show Tendon button to display the Bridge Tendon Data form.
Click the Quick Start button in the Vertical Layout or Horizontal Layout areas of the form to display the Tendon Quick Start form for specifying the vertical or horizontal tendon layout, respectively.

Use the Tendon Quick Start form to specify the vertical or horizontal tendon layout using template alignments.

If a "Straight Tendon" option has been selected, the Bridge Tendon Data form will redisplay with the selected option transferred automatically to it.
If a "Parabolic Tendon" option has been selected, the Define Parabolic Tendon {Horizontal, Vertical} Layout By Points form will display with the data for the selected option transferred automatically to the spreadsheet area of the form. Click the Quick Start button on the form to view the alignment in the display area on the form.

Spans Start and End at Abutments and Bents Only option. The selected tendon layout spans between the abutments and any bents only, disregarding any bridge segments that may have been defined using stations on the Bridge Object Data form.
Spans Are as Defined for Bridge Object option. The selected tendon layout spans each segment that has been defined using the Bridge Object Data form.
